Dawid started his sim racing career back in 2006 at the age of 10, where he by using a keyboard experienced his first taste of the industry in the F1 Challenge 99-02 title, where he was using a 2006 season mod.
His inspiration was the famous Polish racing driver Robert Kubica, who back then was a rising star in Formula One, but he has always enjoyed motorsport. Already at the age of 5, he watched highlights from the World Rally Championship, so it’s not a coincidence that he has a great passion for sim racing.
He did his first online race back in 2007 on the rFactor 1 platform, after his parents bought him his first steering wheel.
From 2007 to 2011, Dawid competed in the Polish rFactor 1 league called LiGNA, where he quickly achieved great success.
He then moved up to leagues from the biggest organizer in Poland at the time, simracing.pl, where also teammate Damian Skowron has his roots.
Dawid won in 2012 the F3 title, and then the F1 title in 2013 at simracing.pl.
After a few years of silence, he qualified for the rFactor 2 final of the first edition of World Fastest Gamer.
Dawid Mroczek has been a part of Burst Esport since the expansion to rFactor 2 and has consistently progressed and developed into a driver who’s now challenging and winning at the very highest level.
