Three wins out of four races. That’s how the first half of this season of GT3 Endurance ended for Burst Esport, and the aim for round 5 was of course to continued the great momentum!
The location was quite familiar, with the Indianapolis Road Course also being the host of the latest round of VEC, in which we won.
Michi Hoyer and Dawid Mroczek were back in our Callaway Corvette GT3 and the event started very well with Michi taking pole position in the qualifying session – Our fourth pole position in the season.
The German got off to a great start and never looked back. Over the course of his stints, he managed to pull out a one minute gap to second place before handing the car over to Dawid.
The polish driver simply continued Michi’s great work, and with a very solid and consistent final stint, he crossed the finish line to bring home a fourth win in five races for Burst Esport in GT3 Endurance!
This means that we technically can win the championship in the next round of the series, but we are taking it race by race. Round 6 of GT3 Endurance takes place on the 27th of March at Mount Panorama Circuit, also known as Bathurst.
