2020 have been a solid year for Burst Esport so far and last week, it became even better!
Anders Dahl and Griffin Gardiner secured the 911 GT3 Cup title in the Nürburgring Endurance Championship with a strong finale race. Even though they had to skip one round, their consistency and racecraft in the other rounds made it possible and still bring the championship to Burst Esport.
Anders has given this comment after securing the title:
“We started the season as practice for the N24. Griffin and I wanted to try and see where we could end up if we continued. In the beginning, we were definitely lacking some pace, so mid season we put in some work, which resulted in 2 wins in a row. That left us with enough margin to actually skip a round, when Griffins power went out. The final race was all about finishing to keep the points gap big enough to secure the championship. Each round has been really tough, but also a lot of fun.”
Amazing job by Anders and Griffin, who you also can follow in the NEO Endurance 24H Series.
Thanks to our incredible sponsors and partners for their support!
