After a heroic battle around Autodromo Nazionale di Monza, we just missed out on the race win of the Virtual Endurance Championship season opener in the DPi class.
Michi Hoyer and Dawid Mroczek showed a great performance, but sadly it just wasn’t enough today – P2 for the #4 ByKOLLES-Burst Esport car.
The #49 Burst Esport LMP2, driven by Rasmus Andreasen, Tom Oldenmenger, and Cameron Rodger had a tough day at the office where damage repairs prevented them from finishing higher than P12, but encouraging signs showed with pace matching the podium finishers.
Round 2 will take place in just under one month’s time when the 8 hours of Spa on the 6th of November.
