Yesterday, we teamed up with ByKolles Racing for the WTF1 Spa 3H Invitational in rFactor 2.
Our line-up in the ByKolles Burst Esport car was Jernej Simončič and Dennis Jordan who also shares machinery in one of our VEC cars. We also had a Burst Esport car of Michi Hoyer and Dawid Mroczek.
Jernej qualified third while Dawid started from ninth place.
Both cars had a clean start with the Slovenian staying in third place, looking after his tires and fuel saving. Dawid lost a couple of positions but he and Michi would come back later.
Jernej was battling against Varga Simracing, Williams Esport and R8G Esports for the lead before the first round of pitstop, but due to R8G and Williams speeding in the pitlane, they were out of the picture, which left us and Varga to fight for the overall win.
Dawid and Michi in the other Burst Esport car were back in P9 where they started, going into the final stint of the race, while Jernej and Dennis had taken the lead after having to refuel less in their final pitstop. So the fuel saving at the start had paid off. Dennis extended the gap to second place all the way to the chequered flag where he secured the overall win for ByKolles Burst Esport. Another successful race in collaboration with ByKolles Racing, just like at the 24 Hours of Le Mans Virtual.
Michi Hoyer got into 8th position at the final stages of the race and as the only team, we two cars finishing in the top 10. Absolute stunning performance!
Thanks to ByKolles Racing for teaming up once again and continuing our great partnership. Thanks to our sponsors and partners for their amazing support.
