The scene was set to start a new era in the world of sim racing, with the Le Mans Virtual Series going to Monza for the opening round. We were lined up with two cars in partnership with ByKOLLES Racing, which we have achieved great success with last year at the Le Mans Virtual 24 Hours of Le Mans.
The #4 FLOYD ByKOLLES-Burst car with Jernej Simoncic behind the wheel, qualified in 2nd position at the temple of speed, with the #444 Alpha Industries ByKOLLES-Burst starting just behind in third.
A tense and highly competitive battle went on for all 4 hours around Monza, with both cars fighting for the race wins. Technical issues prevented the #4 car from taking the race win, but thanks to incredible pace from Jernej Simoncic, Jesper Pedersen, and Sergio Sette Camara, a podium finish still materialized – not far ahead of the #444 car driven by Michi Hoyer, Dawid Mroczek and Jonathan Aberdein.
A very strong start to the series, and on the 16th of October, we go again but at this time at Circuit de Spa Francorchamps for 6 Hours of the highest skilled sim racing series in history!
