Rasmus started his sim racing career back in early 2016, with the first edition of Project CARS on the PlayStation 4 platform.
During a couple of years, the Dane went from the very back of the field to racing for podiums and race wins in the most competitive leagues in Denmark.
Alongside his progression on the danish scene, Rasmus started to explore other titles, such as iRacing, in which he grew as a driver, with podium finish in split 2 of an 3 hour race at Le Mans, while also fighting for a podium place at the 12 hours of Sebring in split 2 as well.
He then later also discovered the rFactor 2 platform, which since 2020 has been his focus and preferred platform. A fourth place at the Endurance World Championship, along with a race win and multiple podium finishes in the Virtual Endurance Championship, showed potential for greater success in the future.
Rasmus joined Burst Esport as a driver ahead of season 13 of the Virtual Endurance Championship in the summer of 2020 and still shows progress and potential that awaits to be unlocked.
He’s also in charge of the team’s social media channels which he has helped to grow with rich storytelling content.
Alongside his driving and SoME duties here at Burst, he’s also taking care of Social Media and the website of the successful sim racing manufacturer SimPlexity that produces high-end simulator rigs.
